Welcome to MealPlan Mom. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Description of Service
MealPlan Mom is an AI-powered meal planning application that generates personalized weekly meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists based on your family's dietary needs, allergies, and preferences. The service is available on iOS via the Apple App Store.
2. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may create one account per person. Sharing account credentials is not permitted.
- Family members can join your family group using a unique 6-character join code.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Subscription Terms
Available Plans
- Free: 1 meal plan per month, 2 regenerations, 1 family member. $0.
- Solo: 4 meal plans per month, 10 regenerations, 1 family member. $2.99/month.
- Family: 8 meal plans per month, 40 regenerations, unlimited family members. $4.99/month.
Apple In-App Purchase Terms
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices are in USD and may vary by region based on Apple's pricing tiers.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to your paid features until the period ends. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
4. Fair Use Policy
- Meal plan generation and regeneration are subject to the limits of your subscription tier.
- Limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month.
- Automated access, scraping, or systematic downloading of meal plans or recipes is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to modify usage limits, enforce throttling, or suspend accounts that engage in abuse at our sole discretion.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
This is important — please read carefully:
- Meal plans, recipes, and nutritional information are generated by artificial intelligence.
- MealPlan Mom is not a nutritionist, dietitian, or medical professional.
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unsuitable suggestions.
- Always verify recipes for allergens before preparing or consuming food — AI may make mistakes about allergen content, ingredient substitutions, or cross-contamination risks.
- Nutritional values are estimates and should not be relied upon for medical dietary requirements.
- MealPlan Mom is not a substitute for professional nutritional, medical, or dietary advice.
- Consult a healthcare provider or registered dietitian for specific medical dietary needs.
- We are not liable for any adverse health effects resulting from following AI-generated recipes or meal suggestions.
6. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate dietary restrictions, allergy information, and food preferences for all family members.
- Verify all generated recipes for safety, especially regarding food allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Report any issues, errors, or concerns about generated content to support@mealplan.mom.
- Do not redistribute, resell, or commercially use generated meal plans or recipes.
- Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws.
7. Intellectual Property
The MealPlan Mom application, including its design, code, branding, and content, is the property of MealPlan Mom. AI-generated meal plans and recipes are provided to you under a limited, personal, non-transferable license for your own use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its content for commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your needs.
- We are not liable for allergic reactions, health issues, or any damages resulting from following generated recipes or meal suggestions.
- Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Apple — Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are between you and MealPlan Mom, not Apple Inc.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
- Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to MealPlan Mom.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to MealPlan Mom or your possession and use of it.
- In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim related to MealPlan Mom.
10. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@mealplan.mom.
- Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Data deletion is handled per our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MealPlan Mom shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
